I noticed a "problem" in the score. mmmh it will be a little hard to explain in english...let's try
at the beginning of the tournament, you win a race at Maria, for example. You are the first to win in this field, so you have 2+3 points, and your opponent 1+2 ok?
if later another skipper beat your time, he will have 2+3 points for his best time, np.. and you??? -3?? no... do you understand the problem?
I can win easily 2+3 points at waheke if I am the first to play here.. and if I play again at waheke just after, I will win again 2+3 points.
so you can have a lot of points by playing during the first days ; people who will play in march will have very few points, because it will be very difficult to beat the times.
I watched carefully results in some other girone. I saw some skippers who have 35-40-45 points in only 12 regatta! they can lose most of their regatas, it's not a problem, because thanks to scoring times, they earn a lot of points.
am I right, or is it a mistake from me?
